Phyllis Pates is Administrative Assistant with the International Plant Nutrition Institute (IPNI) Americas Group office in Brookings, South Dakota. She works directly with Dr. Paul E. Fixen who is IPNI Senior Vice President, Americas Group Coordinator, and Director of Research. Some of her responsibilities include maintaining records on the IPNI-supported research initiated by the regional directors, compiling monthly activity reports, and coordinating conferences, including the North Central Extension-Industry Soil Fertility Conference and the Great Plains Soil Fertility Conference
